About the film

This isn’t your parents’ marijuana.

Today’s marijuana is a commercial product. It is engineered for potency and sold as candy, vapes, drinks, and concentrates, in forms and flavors built to appeal to young people.

THC INC follows the industry from prohibition to legalization and asks what it has cost. Neuroscientists, clinicians, young people, and families living with the consequences tell the story the marketing leaves out.

The result is a film built to start conversations: in classrooms, churches, clinics, and living rooms, among the parents, educators, and health providers who see the fallout first.

Executive Producer: Dr. Kevin Sabet
President and CEO of Smart Approaches to Marijuana and former White House drug policy advisor.
