SAM provides a mobile alert program to keep supporters informed about marijuana policy and legislative updates.

  • Program Description: By opting in, users will receive recurring automated text messages containing advocacy alerts, legislative updates, and organizational news.
  • Enrollment: You may opt-in by providing your mobile number on our website forms or by texting the keyword SAM to our designated code.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on legislative activity.
  • Pricing: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Check your mobile plan for details.
  • Stop/Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number from which you received the message. We will send you a one-time confirmation text.
  • Help/Support: For more information or assistance, text HELP or SAM to the number you received messages from, or email us at info@learnaboutsam.org.
  • Carrier Liability: Carriers (including, but not limited to, T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
