“On behalf of SAM, we want to extend our warmest congratulations to Doug Simon on his appointment as the new director of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy Compliance (ODAPC). “Mr. Simon’s extensive experience, including his tenure as the Florida Director of the Office of Drug Control, and his prior experience at the U.S. Department of Education and the Office of National Drug Control Policy, positions him well to lead ODAPC.

“As the landscape of drug policy continues to evolve, ensuring the safety of our transportation systems through effective drug and alcohol testing policies is paramount, SAM is confident that under Mr. Simon’s leadership, ODAPC will continue to uphold the highest standards, with a focus on prioritizing health and safety.

“We look forward to collaborating with ODAPC’s efforts to maintain compliance in fighting for safer, drug-free workplaces nationwide.”
