- Harvest of Chula Vista, operating as Wellgreens Dispensary in California, showcased a “Jeeter – Bubba Gum” cartridge at 914.43% potency. Again, this was stated to be a typographical error, with the actual potency being 94% THC.
- MedMen in Downtown Los Angeles had a “Blue Burst” cartridge listed at 185.97% THC. Upon inquiry, they admitted the impossibility of such potency, confirming the actual THC level to be 90%.
The real concern in this scenario lies not just in misinformation but in the ability of stores to advertise and sell such high-potency products at all. The markets in California and Washington are some of the oldest and most regulated markets, yet they still fail to effectively regulate marijuana.
