
Washington State Releases New Numbers Showing Increase in THC-Related Impaired Driving Cases
Preliminary Data Released Today From Washington State Toxicologist
(SEATTLE, WA) – Today, the Washington State toxicologist released preliminary data from the first four months of 2015, Jan-April, showing that the percentage of total driving cases testing positive for THC jumped from 28% to 33% for the first part of 2015 versus 2014. This is a significant jump not only compared with 2014, but also compared with the percentage in 2013 (24.9%) and 2012 (18.6%).

The average and median THC amount also grew from 2014.
